Campaign Celebration
Coastal Conservation League // February 2020
To celebrate the end of a five-year fundraising campaign, the Coastal Conservation League invited some donors to a riverside brunch.
We hired a local bluegrass band, Southern Flavor, to play for our event. They were wonderful to work with and set the perfect upbeat, laid-back tone we were hoping for.
The Coastal Conservation League has a food hub, GrowFood Carolina, so we wanted a caterer who would highlight local food for the menu. Caroline with GingerVine Street Food created an incredible breakfast buffet centered around local produce with southern staples, like grits to bring the menu together.
We had long, community-style tables for our guests to eat food and sit down at their leisure.
Since the tables were originally intended to be outside, we went with blue table cloths to bring the river up to the party.
Charleston in February isn’t as vibrant as it is during the rest of the year, so the fuchsia runners and jewel-toned flowers helped to brighten the atmosphere.
Natural chairs kept the laid-back tone and kept the party tied to nature.
